Starving after school, it’s easy to prepare a
mini pizza!
Ingredients
- small pocket or pita bread rounds
- pizza or pasta sauce
- grated mozzarella cheese
- optional toppings: (be creative) pepperoni,
olives, artichoke hearts, sausage, bell peppers…
Instructions
- Cover baking sheet with foil. Preheat oven
to 325º.
- Slice pocket bread into 2 separate rounds.
- Spoon tomato sauce lightly on bread round.
Add toppings and cheese.
- Bake 5 to 8 minutes in a 325º oven until
cheese is melted.
MONSTER EYES
Ingredients
- 6 miniature bagels, split and toasted
- 1 8-ounce container whipped cream cheese
- 6 green olives with pimento centers
- Red decorating icing
Instructions
- Spread cream cheese evenly onto
toasted bagels.
- Cut olives in half, place in center of
each bagel. Use icing to add “veins” to
eyes.
FINGER FOOD
Ingredients
- fresh peeled and cut baby carrots
- slivered almonds
- cream cheese
Instructions
- With a dab of cream cheese adhere
slivered almonds to narrow end of carrot to give the look of a
“finger”.
PRESTO PESTO DIP
Ingredients
- Yields 8 servings
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons Pesto Sauce
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Stir together mayonnaise, pesto sauce
and lemon juice. Taste for seasoning, add salt and pepper if
desired.
Note: Garnish with gummy worms crawling out of the dip.
